Create Geodatabase User

In this tutorial we will explain how to create a user in ArcGIS Enterprise Geodatbase.

This tutorial can be applied to both Oracle and SQL Server databases provided that you use the correct user for each database:

• Oracle Database needs "SYS" user.
• SQL Server Database needs "SA" user.

Adding new user steps:

1. Right click on the connection and choose "Administration" as shown in the following image:
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. From "Administration" choose "Add User" as shown in the following image:
   
   
   
   
   
3. In the new window provide the following data as shown in the following image::
1. Username
2. Password

Then press "Ok" and a new window will appear and after creating the user is finished you will can use it to login.
